River of Luscious Destruction

A whisper travels on the breeze, a tale spun from honeyed lies and tangled truths. It speaks of a river, its waters glinting with the temptation of intoxication. But within its depths lurks a venom, a deceptive lure that promises power at the cost of innocence. They say those who stumble in its current are forever ensnared by the river's grip, their lives forever corrupted into a desolate melody.

The Great Molasses Flood

On January 15th, 1919, Boston witnessed a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with that thick sweet nectar burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that crashed through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, standing at least 25 feet in some areas, was horrifying. Structures succumbed under the force of the sticky goo.
